The Maverick Awards have been designed as a 6 month + challenge, specifically for adults. They were created after Rebels in the Facebook group requested an ‘adult version’ of awards like Duke of Edinburgh, Queen’s Guide and Queen’s Scout.
** This administration fee will officially record the date you started your Gold Maverick Award - all activities need to take place after this date. Please do not sign up for anyone else - the sign up needs to be in your name, only one sign up per order. **
The fee goes towards the cost of the time spent assessing your Award once you have finished. On completion, fabric and metal badges will be available to purchase separately. The metal badges will be uniquely numbered.
Your sign up fee also includes a contribution to a fund for disabled Rebels who require indoor accommodation in order to make the cost of the outdoor section of the Award fair and accessible to all.
As part of sign up, you will be issued an Award log book.
