Potential Event - Rebel Summer Camp 2027
I’ve decided to make Summer Camp a bi-annual event, so that we hopefully get more Rebels attending, and more Rebels from overseas able to plan in advance.
At Rebel suggestion I have enquired at Foxlease Park in Lyndhurst, in the New Forest, about the August Bank Holiday 2027 - Friday 27th to Monday 30th August.
Campers would have access to set up from 3pm, with Camp beginning at 7pm with a welcome and entertainment. There is indoor accommodation available, but they do not allow campervans or caravans on site.
They are not requiring us to have exclusive hire, but we would be hiring the central part of the site, so we would be zoned off from any other groups - this would include all the residential buildings and halls that we can run activities in. Activities would be a mix of adventurous activities run by the site - archery, fencing, bush craft, frisbee golf, team building, circus skills, pond dipping, star gazing, kayaking, canoeing and raft building - and external activities and crafts we bring in. There will be entertainment options on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. Foxlease run activities longer than other sites we have used in the past, so it’s likely to be 4 activities per day, with the possibility of 3 on Monday if people would prefer to leave early..
At present I am trying to work out numbers to see if it’s worth putting down a deposit for 2027, so please sign up for the waitlist here if you would definitely attend, and if we have enough interest I will get the site booked.
The cost of tickets is the standard ticket price - there may be an earlybird reduction for anyone signing up in 2025.
