Rebel Badge Book Reviews

Thank you so much all of you lovely Rebels who have reviewed the book - here are some of the ones which have caught my eye :)

‘This is basically a recipe book for an amazing life!’ Adele, aged 17

‘I am loving this book. I was looking to do something by way of a challenge before my 70th birthday next January, and this superb book has really got me going … it has encouraged me to try things I have thought about doing but never done. For example, my husband and I will be indoor skydiving next week and throwing axes the following week. It has also made me think about my aims in life, how I want to spend my time and money, and has definitely got me out of the rut I have fallen into over the last two years.’ Celia, aged 69.

‘This book is excellent - lovely designed badges (that you can buy in real life as well) and the challenges are a nice mix. Lots of variety in topic but the level of challenge is similar across them all. A great way to challenge yourself to try things.’ Amazon Customer.

‘'I love this book so much, and the community (on Facebook) that goes along with it. I’m a Brownie Leader and have always been jealous of the girls doing interest badges, and now I can do them too!’ Jenny B

‘This book is amazing, unique ideas - that are suitable for adults. It is what it says on the cover - a badge book for adults! It would make a wonderful gift or great for yourself. The ideas are new and fresh and aren’t the same old stuff we see recycled. I couldn’t recommend this book enough! There is plenty in there to keep you going for a long time.’ Caitlin S

‘Charly has created a unique, detailed and varied badge program for adults. I just spent a good hour reading this manual cover to cover on my Kindle. I can hardly wait to get started!’ Lulu

'I absolutely LOVE this book. I am already having so much fun, and I’m still, mostly in the planning stage. I’m encouraged to do things I have always wanted to do but just haven’t. I’m also getting to spend some quality time with my husband and our daughter while we do things to earn badges together. This is helping to get me out of a funky mood that I have been in lately. I definitely recommend this book to anyone.’ Patricia P

‘Finally, a badge book that is really a badge book! I’ve looked through other badge books and although they were nice and good reads, they weren’t really badge books, at least not like I remember. The Rebel Badge Book is the first one I’ve seen that is a real badge book. The book is well written, easy to follow, and offers a lot of activities to keep you busy for a while. Bottom line, if you are looking to relive your scouting days (or never got to be one) and think kids shouldn’t have all the fun, I highly recommend you buy this book. You won’t regret it.’ Takara W
